Our group’s primary activities are:

Monthly meetings discussing: 

• incoming Amnesty International info and disseminating this for our members;

• we plan upcoming events such as letter writing events;

• visits to politicians and anything else required.

Once a year we hold a Group Members only lunch with a fundraising Trash & Treasure Auction, for a fun and uplifting time together. We also plan our Write for Rights events - twice a year and we do these at a local seaside café.

Our meeting schedule: we meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (except January and July) for our group meetings, at a member’s home. Interested people can email our conveners for place and time.

Group Dynamics: our group is active as far as our time and energies are available. It has been meeting for almost 50 years, but could do with younger members!
