The Amnesty Hornsby Action Group is an inclusive group of concerned citizens.

Initially we plan to meet once a month to discuss issues of injustice and to plan actions in line with the values, principles and procedures of Amnesty International. Our aim is to bring together like-minded people, on the North Shore of Sydney, to stand against injustice wherever it happens.

We will aim to hold regular rallies and information events as our group grows.

Our first event will be a rally to be held at the Hornsby Fountain on the 2nd of August. We are currently awaiting police commissioner and council approval for this event.

The goal will be to achieve 400+ signatures on an Amnesty petition related to the ongoing indiscriminate killing of the Palestinian people and the failure to allow adequate aid into Gaza.

Whilst engaging with the public we aim to grow our group and will seek approval to contact and update those who sign the petition, with news of upcoming rallies and other events.
