The Amnesty Fremantle action group meets on the second Wednesday of each month from 6pm at Clancy's Fish Pub, Fremantle.

 

We send countless urgent action letters and emails in response to human rights violations all over the world. We also regularly attend vigils and rallies and sometimes host awareness-raising/fundraising events, such as movie nights or morning/afternoon teas. One of our ongoing projects for many years has been collecting and delivering pantry donations to the Centre for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Detainees (CARAD) in Perth.

 

We often work closely with other groups, including the Amnesty Mount Lawley action group and Grandmothers for Refugees Fremantle. We are a small but dedicated group that welcomes new members.
