We meet to discuss all things that Amnesty would like us to campaign so this may include letter writing, visiting MPs, attending rallies, petitions.

We often attend markets where we encourage market goers to sign a petition or educate people on human rights or lack of them around the world.

This year, we hope to do more social events incorporating a human rights theme eg. art galleries, movies.

Every year, we take part in the global Write for Rights campaign.

We meet on the second Sunday of the month via Zoom or face to face at the Chermside Library from 1.30-3pm.

We would love new members to join the group with new ideas or even campaigns to discuss.

In 2025 we are celebrating 20 years as a group.
