Artists for Rights Exhibit 2026

A core group of creatives based on Kombumerri country (Gold Coast) are supporting the work of Amnesty International Australia in the promotion and protection of human rights and social justice through the Artists for Rights Project. This project is facilitated by the Amnesty Vision Action Group.

As part of the Artists for Rights Project, we are holding a group exhibit of artwork created by the artists and community members through the series of workshops and activities from June to November 2026.

The Artists for Rights Exhibit will be an opportunity to present all the work that the artists and community members have created through these workshops and conversations that are centred on human rights and social justice in the community. The gallery space will also be activated with talks and workshops by the exhibiting artists.
