Amnesty Vision Action Group invites you to our next regular community gathering
Our community gatherings are opportunities to meet and greet people who have the passion and interest in human rights and social justice issues.
In our community gatherings, we hold, a Meet & Greet session and Amnesty Vision Group Updates.
- Welcome and Introduction of our new co-convenors
- Information Session: How to organise an event or a project for our group
- Recap of last month's meeting and some updates on Amnesty Australia activities
- Planning and Task Assignments for upcoming activities
- 25 April (Saturday) - private film screening as part of the Women's Voices Now film festival (c/o Roselle)
- 11 June (Thursday) - Aquinas College visit (Social Justice Group), 2pm-3pm
- Tentative in June: Celebrating Our Community With Pride" - invite to have a stall at the Robina Auditorium in June for Pride Month
- Tentative in August: Luminous Festival at HOTA with Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC) - lantern parade
- 1 Sept (Tuessday) - St Joseph's College Pimpama Year 10 Social Justice Retreat, from 10am
- 24 November - 7 December - Artists for Rights Art Exhibit at the Robina Community Art Gallery
- Around the table ideas
The public is welcome to join our regular meet-ups. We hold our gatherings every second Tuesday of each month. Light refreshments always provided.
