Amnesty Vision Action Group invites you to participate in Write for Rights 2025 to show support and take action to challenge injustice and right wrongs, on International Human Rights Day, 10 December. Come and celebrate this important day with local community members, and enjoy the space for conversations and insights over a cup of tea and light snacks.

WHAT IS WRITE FOR RIGHTS?
Write for Rights is the world’s biggest human rights event. It brings millions of people together as one to take action and stand up for freedom, justice and equality.
Every year in the lead up to World Human Rights Day (10 December), Amnesty supporters and activists from 170 countries take action – writing letters, signing petitions, and much more – telling governments to challenge injustice and right wrongs.
Amnesty Vision Action Group (Kombumerri/Gold Coast) is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the AIA People Powered community. AIA will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
