No Exit: Legal Persecution and the Lived Situation of LBTI Women in Afghanistan

Amnesty Feminists Australia, in partnership with Rainbow Afghanistan and Amnesty Feminists UK, launch a groundbreaking new report.

Join Amnesty Feminists UK, in partnership with Rainbow Afghanistan and Amnesty Feminists Australia, for the launch of a groundbreaking new report by Rainbow Afghanistan, that documents the lived realities and women in Afghanistan from 2025 until 2026. This is testimony that demands to be heard: survival under a regime built on their erasure, the courage of resistance in the face of persecution, and the human cost of the world’s silence.

We’ll hear directly from Rainbow Afghanistan on their findings, confront the devastating impact of Taliban rule on queer communities, and discuss what genuine international solidarity must look like — not just in words, but in protection and action.

This is not a conversation for later. It’s a call to act now. The event will close with our petition demanding global recognition of LBTI persecution in Afghanistan and real, enforceable protection pathways for those at risk.

Their survival cannot depend on our silence. Join us.

RSVP today.
